Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2
Lenovo launched its IdeaPad S10-2. The device comes with the new dual core N280 Intel Atom processor that offers the speed of 667MHz, it also boasts of the hard drive that has 250GB of space.
The S10-2 is available with the conventional set-up of three USB 2.0 ports, but there is no ExpressCard slot. The device is based on Windows 7 as it is equipped with the Atom N280 processor and Intel GMA 950 graphics core in the i945GSE chipset.
The gadget is powered with an extended six-cell battery. The company created two function buttons above the keyboard. One is dedicated for a short-cut to the CyberLink OneKey Recovery 7.0 backup application and the QS (Quick Start) button boots Device VM’s Splashtop ‘instant on’ software. Due to this button it is possible to use a browser an instant messenger or even to look at photos.
The device has a usual performance for a dual core Atom netbook that comes with Intel graphics. As for the life battery, it is possible to work on the netbook during three and a quarter of hours.
Lenovo developed a ten-inch Atom netbook with the improved hardware and also the company made alterations in software as the netbook runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.
